Registered Nurse (ICU)
Registered Nurse (NICU)
Job Purpose: To provide total nursing care to patients by assessing, planning, administering, evaluating and documenting to ensure that comprehensive patient needs are met.
Suitably qualified candidates who meet the following requirements are invited to apply:
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience in a ICU or NICU
Key functions and Responsibilities:
- Assesses and identifies patients’ needs
- Plans the Nursing Care according to set standards.
- Provide treatment to patients according to Doctor Prescription.
- Checks and orders schedules drugs on a weekly basis.
- Facilitates patient’s admissions, discharge and referral in the department.
- Attends to incident that occurs and reports to Senior Registered Nurse.
- Practices economical use of supplies to minimise wastage.
- Handles equipment safely to prevent risk and ensures that any malfunctioning equipment’s are report.
- Promote teamwork, accountability and positive work environment.
