Vacancy: Nursing Services Manager
The Nursing Services Manager oversees the Nursing Services department. The position reports to the Hospital Manager.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Actively participates in strategic planning and implementation and monitoring.
- Ensure that Nursing operations are aligned to Medipark’s Quality Management System, in adherence to ISO 9001:2015.
- Develop and coordinate Nursing care programs for all Nursing divisions/units.
- Guide Unit Managers on quality care ratios, in line with best practices.
- Contribute toward operational efficiency of Nursing Department.
- Promote delivery of a high standard of quality care and patient centricity.
- Review and implement Nursing policies, procedures and standards.
- Set and review performance targets for staff.
- Manage and maintain good working relations with referring doctors and service providers.
- Collect and critically analyse data for informed decision making and reporting to EXCO and the Board of Directors.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, regulatory and governance requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Nursing Science.
- 7 years’ experience of which 3 years should be as a Unit Manager/middle management.
- Registration with HPCNA.
- A Management/Leadership Development qualification will serve as an added advantage.
