Ongwediva Medipark Vascular Surgeons deals with a subspecialty in which diseases of vascular system; arterial, venous and lymphatic diseases are either managed by Medical therapy, minimal invasive catheter procedures (endovascular surgery) and/or open surgical procedures.

We offer emergency and elective vascular services.
Ongwediva Medipark’s Vascular surgeons treats:
Peripheral arterial disease is a common circulatory problem in which narrowed arteries reduce blood flow to your limbs.
When you develop peripheral arterial disease, your extremities, usually your legs, don’t receive enough blood flow to keep up with demand. This causes symptoms, most notably leg pain when walking (claudication). Claudication includes muscle pain or cramping in your legs or arms that is triggered by activity, such as walking, but disappears after a few minutes of rest. Calf pain is the most common location.
An abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is blood-filled bulge or ballooning in part of your aorta that runs through your abdomen. Over time, this bulge in your aorta can become weak and the force of normal blood pressure can cause it to rupture. This can lead to severe pain and massive internal bleeding, or hemorrhage.
